    Big Features in a Really Good Value Phone

    I knew I needed to upgrade to a smart phone but as a senior with a fixed income the prices to buy new were un-affordable. I researched this older model of phone and liked what I read. The 13 mega pixel camera was a real selling feature as I also needed to replace a very old 4 mega pixel camera. I saw pictures taken by someone else with this model and was very impressed. Now I only need one device to carry with me. The phone is fast when processing data. It is not overly wide so easy to hold on to. The features of the phone are somewhat intuitive even for a 69 year old. I read the online manual, Googled items I needed to clarify and played with the phone for a few days. I was able to upgrade the OS when I first started it up and downloaded several apps. It comes loaded with more apps than I would ever use so I could delete them easily, cutting energy usage. Screen is big enough to read even Kindle books. Phone case is slippery so I suggest a cover or skin to protect and make it easier to hang on to. I did have to buy a new battery as this unit was never used and sat for about 4 years on a shelf. The new battery is great and I can use the phone for more than 3 days before I have to charge it.

    great phone

    This is a beautiful, sleek and functional cell-phone. I am upgrading from the Samsung Galaxy Fascinate S. I liked that phone, but it was the first smart phone of the galaxy series and it was buggy. I am having no problems running my apps on this phone, except for an occasional freeze- up and restart, usually caused by the Facebook app. I love the thin form factor of the phone, which I have observed to be much more well designed than the S3. The battery life seems to be somewhat limited, often less than 4 hours from a full charge. If you want a less expensive phone, this is it. You will get the thinnest phone with most modern features. Hard to believe it was designed in 2013, so hope that it will be adequate going into the future. (Many apps no longer run on the earliest Galaxies due to software changes in the operating system. This was the main reason I upgraded.)

    I bought this for my husband.

    However, I setup the phone for him with apps and his Samsung account, etc. and it works very well. He's very happy with it. Can't tell you how long the battery last, since I don't use it. But the screen is vibrant and easy to use, just like my own phone was. Pictures come out great, speaker works well. Getting the SIMS Card for it was very easy. We just took it in to US Cellular and they put in the new Sims card, no charge. And setup what needed to be setup to get the phone on our U.S. Cellular account.. So all in all, it works just like a new phone and looks like a new phone.

    Great and fast service

    The service from these guys where great and can't complain about the price very good deal. The phone did have a lock feature that was not disable when I received but from reading the description I guess they where not able to tell due to the screen not working. Luckily I'm an experience tech and was able to clear and restore phone back to factory. Over all great people to do business with. I hope to do more business with them in the future. Thanks again

    Great Phone

    this was in mint cond as promised with about 5-6 hour battery life if gaming on it or watching youtube. which is what i use it for but for most poeple just using it as a phone or fb messager it would last all day. i dont use the phone part behonest i bought it to use like a tablet cuz i hate the size of tablets so cant say much on the phone part but every thing else this samsung s4 rocks!!!

    Good but cou,d be better

    The phone can do many many things...calls, internet, pics,etc. Not all of these are intuitive to use and a lack of a owners manual or simplified instructions is sadly lacking. There is a 230 page "manual" on line but not very useful. Battery life is not great if you need/use a higher brightness screen. Overall I would buy it again but am somewhat disappointed in the overall package

    Very Nice Phone

    My wife really likes this phone. She can now access facebook, read her email and write text messages much faster. She also likes the photo gallery and the camera takes excellent pictures. One drawback is that the battery doesn't last long. She's probably needs to learn more to extend battery life. VERY HAPPY

    A good value for a not too old phone.

    For an older phone the battery lasts quite long. Android version is new enough that installing apps has not been a problem. Screen resolution is high enough for a nice clear display. It is quite compact, and the replaceable battery will ensure a long life for this phone.

    Quality replacement!

    After logic board and new charge port board were installed, the Galaxy S4 is like new! AT&T unlocked the phone and now phone works on all GSM carriers, i.e. Simple Mobile.
