During an exhibition game in 1985, Michael Jordan was able to dunk the ball so hard that he shattered the backboard. The Jordan 1 Mid Shattered Backboard shoe was designed and named in honor of that event. Of course, the shoe is made with the very same silhouette as the classic Jordan 1. In this version, however, the Nike Swoosh on the side, the leather strip is around the collar, and the patch of leather on the heel is orange rather than the red like the original. Otherwise, the shoe uses black and white leather just like the original does. There's also a Jordan Wings logo on the collar strap. The white leather toebox is perforated, and black and white rubber make up the sole of this reborn classic.
