• Wall chargers: Keep extra CCTV cameras on hand to avoid interruptions in surveillance recording. These DC power cables typically plug into a standard 12-volt outlet.

It usually offers you the ability to plug in a system that runs using 12 volts. You also will find some that provide you the ability to convert AC to DC power if a system requires this kind of connection. Most equipment runs with a power supply that handles about 24 watts, but some might require a different amount of voltage.
