• Unusual sounds: The engine will tend to make very unusual sounds when the calipers are failing. It can vary between high-pitched screeching to sudden thuds when the pedal is pressed.
• Vehicle pulling: You will likely find your Cadillac SRX difficult to control if your disc braking system is failing. Wear and heat on the calipers can cause the pistons to lock up and freeze, which can pull your vehicle in one direction or another.
